GLOBAL INVESTMENT FIRM RELOCATES HQ FOR NEXT CHAPTER
Confidential Financial Services Company
A leading global private markets firm moved its HQ to Boston’s bustling Financial District, spanning 256,068 SF across 11 full floors. Surrounded by Boston’s innovative community, the new location reflects the organization’s commitment to evolving its workplace alongside the needs of its people and the growth of its business. As one of Boston’s most significant office development relocations in 2025, Red Thread was honored to play a key role in helping bring their workplace vision to life.
We worked alongside the team to design furniture layouts that bring flow, consistency, and purpose to the space. The new environment features workstations and conference rooms along with private and shared offices curated from 25 leading vendors such as Steelcase and Halcon. Elevated, high performance conferencing solutions, including custom stone surfaces, reinforce the refined aesthetic of the space. Each floor includes a thoughtful mix of open and enclosed environments that support both focused work and cross functional teamwork. Open collaboration areas encourage informal meetings and day-to-day team interaction, while enclosed spaces such as conference rooms and huddle rooms provide dedicated settings for more structured conversations and privacy when needed.
Modular wall systems enhance both functionality and flexibility within the workplace. These demountable wall solutions define enclosed offices and meeting spaces while glass-front applications help maintain visibility and maximize access to natural light. A combination of bespoke wall solutions, including systems from Steelcase and PurOptima, deliver on both functional demands and visual appeal. The flexible wall solutions also support future reconfiguration, allowing the headquarters to evolve alongside organizational needs while maintaining a cohesive and high-performing workplace.
“Throughout every step of this process, Red Thread operated as a true partner and extension of our own team,” said Colleen Anderson, VP. “Between weekly calls, site visits, and frequent check ins, it was their ability to communicate clearly and collaborate seamlessly that enhanced our relationship and allowed the project to finish at scale, on budget, and on time.”
Our team also supported the delivery and installation of 25,000 unique pieces of furniture through our warehouse while the Lifestyle Group at Red Thread assisted with final accessories to create a sense of lived-in comfort. Accent lighting and layered textures add warmth and depth as subtle moments of color bring energy, complementing the overall sophistication of the space.
To help adoption of the new space, we supported teams through the transition with an on-site ergonomist and custom visualizations. Our partnership will continue to support their goals beyond this project and evolve alongside an enhanced workplace and technology strategy.

A people-first workplace designed for connection, comfort, and choice
Sanofi’s new headquarters at M Station West in Morristown sets a new benchmark for an employee-centered destination. Every aspect of the space—from its workstations to its wellness amenities—was designed to reflect the company’s culture, values, and commitment to its people.
Red Thread partnered with the project team to bring this vision to life through carefully curated furniture and finishes that balance performance and hospitality. We provided the workstations, huddle room furnishings, and task seating that support daily collaboration and focus, as well as inset and area rugs and first-floor ancillary furniture that infuse warmth and texture into shared spaces.
The result is an environment that feels both high-performing and human. A mix of open and enclosed settings promotes choice and flexibility, while thoughtful design details encourage creativity and connection across teams. Beyond the core workspace, amenities like a rooftop terrace, wellness suites, and an on-site clinic reinforce Sanofi’s dedication to employee well-being. Together, these elements create a workplace that does more than support work—it reimagines what it feels like to come together, collaborate, and belong.

Hospitality Comfort Meets Everyday Durability
2Life Communities: Opus Newton
Opus Newton brings a fresh approach to middle-market senior living, creating a warm, hospitality-inspired environment from the moment you step inside. Classic wingback chairs, natural light, and inviting textures set the tone for a campus designed around comfort and connection.
The 175-unit community is co-located with a low-income residence and community center, forming neighborhood with access to wellness, dining, and cultural programming. Working with Perkins Eastman and more than 40 vendor partners, elevated design was blended with the durability senior living requirements that include treated fabrics, hidden moisture barriers, and vetted materials, all work together to create elevated spaces built to last. It’s a careful balance that keeps the space feeling refined while standing up to everyday use.
Across the gathering spaces, salon, art room, gym, yoga studio, patios, and private balconies, the goal was simple: create spaces where residents can connect, move, and feel at home. As senior living continues to grow and evolve, projects like this show how thoughtful details can elevate both the experience and the longevity of the space.

Purposeful Amenities for a Growing Community
At the heart of Boston’s revitalized Fenway neighborhood, this Confidential Luxury Residential Complex is more than a new development—it’s a thoughtfully designed community rooted in connection, comfort, and modern living. With approximately 400 units, the project emphasizes a community-first approach and a strong connection to its surroundings. Red Thread partnered with the team to furnish key amenity spaces that support modern living, wellness, and connection to nature.
All product, sourced from over 50 vendors, was managed through our warehouse to ensure a smooth installation. Amenity spaces include a concierge lobby, fitness and yoga areas, coworking space, rooftop terrace, coffee bar, lounge, and private dining room for residents to gather. Designed to feel modern, welcoming, and grounded, these spaces offer everyday comfort and flexibility for residents.
